Faleke Donates Magnificent APC Secretariat in Ojodu, Earns Ojelabi’s Commendation

Lagos, January 4, 2026 — In a significant boost to party organisation and grassroots mobilisation in Lagos State, the Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) James Abiodun Faleke, OON, has donated a fully furnished, state-of-the-art building to serve as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat for Ojodu LCDA.

Lagos, January 4, 2026 — In a significant boost to party organisation and grassroots mobilisation in Lagos State, the Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) James Abiodun Faleke, OON, has donated a fully furnished, state-of-the-art building to serve as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat for Ojodu LCDA.

The new secretariat was officially unveiled and commissioned on Saturday at about 1:00pm by the Lagos State Chairman of the APC, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, by Grammar School Bus Stop, Ojodu, within Ikeja Federal Constituency.

Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, visibly elated, expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God for the successful completion of the project.

He noted that the donation of the new APC Secretariat was borne out of a deep commitment to strengthening the party at the grassroots.

According to the Federal Lawmaker, the facility is designed to provide a conducive and welcoming environment for robust party activities, strategic engagement and effective mobilisation, while fostering unity, inclusiveness and sustained growth of the APC.

Speaking at the commissioning, Pastor Ojelabi congratulated the leadership and members of the APC in Ojodu LCDA and Ikeja Federal Constituency, describing the donation as a landmark achievement that would strengthen party administration, coordination and unity at the grassroots.

He commended Rt. Hon. Faleke for providing a befitting party secretariat equipped with offices and a hall, noting that the gesture reflected the lawmaker’s unwavering commitment to party development and inclusive leadership.

The APC chairman also offered prayers for the federal lawmaker and party faithful, urging members to maximise the opportunity provided by the new facility to deepen grassroots engagement and party cohesion.

Among the dignitaries present at the event were the Southwest Organising Secretary of the APC, Hon. Lateef Ibirogba, the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, and his Vice, Hon. Funmilayo Layeni.

Others included the Executive Chairman Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Dauda and his Vice Chairman, Hon. Abisola Omisore, and the Vice Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon. Shamsideen Akerele, the APC Chairman, Ojodu LCDA, Alhaja Olusola Kokomo, and the APC Chairman for Ikeja LGA, Maiyegun Dally Adeokun, alongside state party officers in the entourage of the state chairman.

Party leaders and stakeholders hailed the donation as a major milestone that would enhance effective coordination and administration of party activities at the local level, particularly as the APC prepares to commence its e-registration exercise scheduled to begin on Monday, January 5, 2026.

The donation further reinforces Rt. Hon. Faleke’s reputation for investing in sustainable political structures and empowering party members, underscoring his long-standing influence and leadership within Ikeja Federal Constituency.

The commissioning ceremony, attended by councillors, party executives and grassroots supporters, was marked by fanfare and goodwill, signalling a renewed drive to consolidate the APC’s presence and activities in Ikeja LGA ahead of future political engagements.
