The event took place at the Ikeja T.A. Lagbaja Cantonment, Maryland, Ikeja, and marked a significant milestone for the young men and women who have successfully enlisted into the Nigerian Army to begin their military training and service to the nation.

The ceremony was attended by top government functionaries and senior military officers. The Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister ‘Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, alongside other dignitaries and members of the military high command.

The gathering underscored the state government’s continued support for youth participation in national service and the strengthening of Nigeria’s security architecture.
