In a condolence message released on Sunday, President Tinubu described the incident as a profound tragedy that has cast a shadow over the season, extending his heartfelt sympathies to Joshua and his family as they grapple with the emotional toll of the loss.

The President noted that Joshua, through his illustrious career, has consistently demonstrated courage, discipline, and an unwavering love for Nigeria, qualities that have endeared him to millions and made him a source of national pride.

“In moments like this, we must encourage one another as brothers and sisters bound by a shared destiny,” Tinubu said, underscoring the importance of unity and compassion in times of grief.

President Tinubu prayed for Joshua’s speedy recovery and asked God to grant strength, wisdom, and grace to him during the difficult period. He also prayed for the peaceful repose of the souls of the deceased.
