Doha, Qatar — Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has emphasized the importance of placing human values at the center of technological innovation during her participation at the 2025 World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) in Doha.

Speaking alongside global education leaders, Senator Tinubu highlighted the critical role of technology in advancing education while underscoring that humanity must guide progress. She reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to ensuring that every Nigerian child has access to quality education, stressing that no religion should prevent girls from learning.

During the plenary session, she also praised the potential of Nigerian youth across diverse sectors, including arts, fashion, agriculture, film, and technology. She noted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues to prioritize innovation and digital literacy as central to human capital development.

The summit, hosted by Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, focused on the theme Humanity.IO, which emphasized that education and innovation should always serve people first. Other speakers echoed Senator Tinubu’s message, noting that technology without human values is incomplete.

Senator Tinubu described the engagement as “meaningful” and said it reinforced her commitment to leveraging global insights to advance education and youth development in Nigeria
