Ojodu LCDA was on fire with excitement on Monday as the Executive Chairman, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku (Dosunmu), rolled out another wave of empowerment items for residents — and the crowd went wild!
The colourful event, held inside the Council Auditorium, Secretariat, Oke-Ira, pulled a massive audience and top political heavyweights.
Also in attendance were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Funmilayo Layeni, and all six Councillors led by the ever-vibrant Leader of the Ojodu Legislative Council, Hon. Opeyemi Apatira, alongside Deputy Leader Hon. Lanre Ogunnoiki, Majority Leader Hon. Abass Bisimilahi, and others who stormed the venue in full force.
The Chairman expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, party leaders, GAC members, community stakeholders, council staff, and the people of Ojodu LCDA.
He offered special gratitude to Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, for his unwavering support.
He also paid glowing tribute to Cardinal James Odunmbaku, his father, describing him as “a pillar of guidance, mentorship, and strength.”
He described their backing as “a pillar of strength in serving the good people of Ojodu.”
Beneficiaries who spoke with Lagos Panorama Correspondent were full of joy and praises. Many described the empowerment as “a life-changing blessing,” showering prayers on the Chairman and his entire household for remembering the grassroots.
From start to finish, it was a day of buzz, cheers, and loud applause — another signature moment in Ojodu where development meets the people face-to-face.
