There was also a dramatic moment when Nigerian maestro Austin ‘Jay-Jay’ Okocha missed a penalty — much to the playful amusement of fans who cheered on every move from the football icons.
The game featured an impressive lineup of global stars, including Javier Saviola, Ludovic Giuly, Gaizka Mendieta, Alex Song, Vítor Baía, Juan Pablo Sorín, and Andreu Fontàs for Barcelona; while Africa’s side showcased the brilliance of Okocha, Victor Ikpeba, Obafemi Martins, Emmanuel Adebayor, Diouf, and Mark Fish.
