CELEBRATING LOVE AND COMMITMENT
The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude as Hon. Seyi Lawal, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikeja Constituency 1, expressed heartfelt appreciation to dignitaries, political leaders, and well-wishers who graced his Walimatun Nikkai Ceremony held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at The Vantage Point Event Centre, Agidingbi, Ikeja.
In his message of appreciation, Hon. Lawal extended profound thanks to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for his exemplary leadership and support, describing his contributions as “a true reflection of his unwavering commitment to the people of Lagos State.” He also appreciated the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, who ably represented the Governor at the ceremony and conveyed his warm felicitations.
Hon. Lawal further acknowledged the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, and all honourable members of the House for their solidarity and presence, noting that their camaraderie and goodwill deeply enriched the celebration.
He also appreciated the Apex Leaders of Onigbongbo LCDA, Ikeja Local Government, and Ojodu LCDA, as well as traditional rulers, Baales, chiefs, family members, and friends across the globe for their support, prayers, and kind wishes.
In a special note of gratitude, Hon. Lawal commended Hon. AbdulHakeem AbdulLateef, former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, for delivering an inspiring and insightful lecture during the event. He described the lecture as spiritually uplifting and full of valuable guidance.
The lawmaker also expressed appreciation to his political associates and the people of Ikeja Constituency 1, whose presence, he said, demonstrated the unity, strength, and shared vision that bind them together.
He concluded with a heartfelt prayer:
“May Almighty Allah bless and reward everyone who contributed to the success of this joyous occasion. May He grant us unity, peace, and progress, and bless our union abundantly.”
