Tobi Amusan, the celebrated Nigerian track athlete, has secured a prestigious silver medal in the women’s 100m hurdles event at the Tokyo 2025 World Athletics Championships.
Her outstanding achievement was marked by a remarkable 12.29s finish in the final.
This success is a testament to her earlier victory in the semifinal heat on Monday, where she achieved a time of 12.36s.
She finished ahead of the Netherlands’ Nadine Visser and Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska.
Both Visser and Skrzyszowska secured second and third places, respectively.
