D’Tigers commenced the game on a strong note, swiftly achieving a 10-0 lead, as Houston Rockets star Josh Okogie dictated the pace in the highly uneven match at the Pavilhao Multiusos de Luanda in the Angolan capital.

The first quarter concluded with the D’Tigers in the lead, having scored 29 points against their opponents’ 16.

As the first half drew to a close, Nigeria’s advantage became more apparent, with the team scoring 48 points against Tunisia’s 33.

The Nigerian team continued to dominate, extending their lead to 68-47 by the end of the third quarter.

Ultimately, the 2015 Afrobasket champions emerged victorious, defeating the Eagles of Carthage 87-66 and securing back-to-back wins after their initial 77-59 victory over Madagascar.
