To address recent speculations circulating in the public space, the Executive Chairman of Lagos Island East LCDA, Honorable Muibi Alade Folawiyo, wishes to offer clarification on the matter.
He confirms that he was invited by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) for questioning in relation to a petition reportedly filed by individuals he described as detractors and enemies of progress, whose intention is to discredit his person and administration as the Local Government elections in Lagos State are imminent.
Hon. Folawiyo, as a law-abiding and responsible citizen, honoured the invitation and cooperated fully with the Commission, steadfastly confident that the truth will ultimately prevail.
He advises the public, particularly his constituents and stakeholders in Lagos Island East LCDA, to discountenance misleading or sensational narratives being disseminated online, and remain focused on the collective goal of progress and a successful outcome in the forthcoming elections.
Hon. Folawiyo is deeply grateful for the overwhelming support, prayers, and solidarity shown to him and reaffirms his unwavering commitment to service and integrity.
