• Party Elders, Stakeholders Endorse APC Chairmanship Candidate
Distinguished Senator Wasiu Sanni Eshilokun, representing Lagos Central Senatorial District, has called upon Lagos Island residents, community leaders and party faithful to support and vote for Hon. Taiwo Oyekan, the All Progressives Congress chairmanship candidate for Lagos Island Local Government, in the upcoming council Oyekan.
At a stakeholders’ gathering held earlier today, Sunday, 15 June 2025, Sen. Eshilokun stressed the need for unity and collective support for Hon. Oyekan.
The chairman of ward C1, Alh. Adeshina Agara, called on party members to engage in grassroots mobilization and door-to-door campaigns to enhance the APC’s electoral leadership.
He commended Hon. Oyekan on his impressive record. Hon. Oyekan expressed gratitude to the party chieftains and members in his remarks.
He praised Sen. Eshilokun’s leadership.
“I sincerely thank the distinguished senator Wasiu Sanni Eshilokun for his mentorship”, he said.
The party elders and stakeholders unanimously endorsed Hon. Oyekan.
The political meeting witnessed a large turnout.
