LSCPWB Board Secretary Okudero Pays Courtesy Visit To NCPC

The Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board Secretary, Dr. Gbolabo Okudero, has paid a courtesy visit to Bishop Stephen Adegbite, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission, to solicit support for the 2025 Pilgrimage exercise.

During the visit, Dr. Okudero expressed gratitude to Bishop Adegbite for his visionary leadership and shared plans to introduce an automated pilgrimage registration system in Lagos State.

The initiative, according to him, aims to enhance service delivery, improve efficiency, and eliminate challenges associated with manual processes.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for Dr. Okudero to strengthen working relationships with NCPC’s Director of Media and Public Relations, Mr. Celestine Toruka, and Director of Operations, Mr. Sunday Udeh. Both directors later shared valuable perspectives on impactful leadership and operational excellence in pilgrimage management.

Responding, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite expressed NCPC’s full support to the Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board on the 2025 Pilgrimage exercise.

While informing Dr. Okudero that preparations for the 2025 pilgrimage exercise are in top gear and will officially begin in earnest, Bishop Adegbite used the occasion to express deep appreciation to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and the First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu for their steadfast support of Christian pilgrimage activities in Lagos State.

He congratulated Dr. Okudero on his appointment and reaffirmed NCPC’s commitment to partnering with Lagos State, describing the state as a pacesetter in pilgrimage operations nationwide.

Dr. Okudero was accompanied on the visit by Mrs. Kehinde Omisore, Director of Operations, and Mrs. Ebunoluwa Adeola Olagoke, Director of Media and Public Affairs, Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board.
