In a recent appearance on The Honest Bunch podcast, the septuagenarian renowned actor downplayed the severity of the sex-for-roles issue, describing it as a personal matter.

Kosoko advises individuals unwilling to engage in romantic relationships with filmmakers to secure roles to remain resolute, as they cannot be compelled to comply.

Additionally, he claims to be aware of women who enter the industry with the deliberate goal of using their sexuality to gain fame.

“If I say I need you to come and warm my bed so that I can give you this role and you say no, you don’t want, go.

“Go, you don’t want. They cannot force you to do that… If anybody introduces anything to you, if you’re not interested, say no.

“But if you want that role by all means, that means you want to dance to his tune. I’m not saying it’s right to have introduced that to you. But if he says it, one or the other and you fall for it, that’s your own business.

“How does that concern the whole world?” Kosoko queried.

“All these sex-for-role thing, forget about it. I know some ladies that equally come into the industry with determination that, ‘By the time I sleep with this and sleep with that and sleep with that, I will get my name,” he added.
