IRU/VI Council Chair Presents Utility Vehicles, Motorbikes To Royal Families, Police Stations

The Executive Chairman Iru/Victoria Island Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Princess Rasheedat Abiodun Adu on Monday, presented utility vehicles to the Oniru Royal Family and Onisiwo Royal Family to ease the traditional leaders movement in the community.

The Executive Chairman Iru/Victoria Island Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Princess Rasheedat Abiodun Adu on Monday, presented utility vehicles to the Oniru Royal Family and Onisiwo Royal Family to ease the traditional leaders movement in the community.

In the same vein, Maroko Police Station and Bar Beach Police Station received Motorbikes from the Council Chairman to enhance their security operations and further strengthen peace and maximum security in the LCDA.

During the presentation, the Chairman said: “A peaceful and secure environment is the bedrock of development, and we will continue to provide the necessary resources to empower our security agencies. We are deeply grateful for their invaluable contributions, and it is our responsibility to make their duties seamless and efficient”.

“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to our royal fathers, security personnel, and community members for their unwavering support as we work together to build a greater and more prosperous IRU/Victoria Island LCDA”, she added.

The DPOs of Maroko, Bar Beach Police Stations and the traditional rulers expressed their profound gratitude to the Chairman for being a political leader who has the security of citizens at heart.

She was also commended for her unwavering support and commitment towards the welfare of traditional rulers within the council area.
