Nigeria’s Super Falcons captain and Atletico Madrid winger Rasheedat Ajibade has been crowned Spanish Liga F Player of the Month for September, capping off an incredible run of form for the club.
The 24-year-old Nigerian sensation dazzled throughout the month, scoring five goals and providing two assists in four league matches for Atletico.
Her exemplary performances left opponents in awe and solidified her status as one of the league’s top talents.
Ajibade beat other top players to the award, edging out Barcelona’s Ewa Pajor, Real Madrid’s Caroline Weir, Levante Badalona’s María Llompart, and Athletic Club Femenino’s Nerea Nevado.
