Six persons have reportedly died and 13 others injured in an auto crash along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Wednesday.

The Traffic Enforcement Agency (TRACE) in a press release issued to newsmen in Abeokuta by the Corp’s Public Relations Officer, Akinbiyi Babatunde reported that the ugly incident happened on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway outbound NASFAT U-Turn due to impatient, excessive speed and lost of control from the DAF Truck’s driver.

According to an eye witness, the accident was caused as a result of impatient, excessive speed and lost of control on the part of DAF Truck’s driver with the registration number KTG 561 ZZ which ram into Toyota Hiace with the registration number (GGE 84 YF) with 23 Occupants and a MAN Diesel with no registration number.

Five occupants of the Toyota Haice bus died instantly while the doctor confirmed another dead later.

Meanwhile the bodies have been deposited at the mortuary and the injured persons taken to the hospital.
