NUJ condoles family of Florence Omolola Adedoyin, former Chief Sub-Editor of Thisday Newspaper

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Lagos Council has condoled with the family of late Princess Florence Omolola Adewoyin, who passed unto greater glory on Saturday, 8th July,2023 at age 57.

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Lagos Council has condoled with the family of late Princess Florence Omolola Adewoyin, who passed unto greater glory on Saturday, 8th July,2023 at age 57.

The condolence message available to Lagos Panorama, signed by the Council’s Secretary, Tunde Olalere, stated that “Princess Adewoyin was a union activist who was passionate about gender equality and protection of women and girls at large”.

“She was Assistant Secretary, NAWOJ, Lagos Chapter between 2010 to 2013”.

“Princess Adewoyin was widely respected in the pen profession for her creativity and versatility as Chief Sub-Editor at Thisday Newspapers”.

“We pray that God’s in his infinite mercy will protect her immediate family, and grant her associates and the Christian body where she served meritoriously the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”.

“Till we meet again to part no more”.

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Lagos Council condoles with the family of late Princess Florence Omolola Adewoyin, who passed unto greater glory on Saturday, 8th July,2023 at age 57.

The Union received the news of her passing with a rude shock.

Princess Adewoyin was a union activist who was passionate about gender equality and protection of women and girls at large.

She was Assistant Secretary, NAWOJ, Lagos Chapter between 2010 to 2013.

Princess Adewoyin was widely respected in the pen profession for her creativity and versatility as Chief Sub-Editor at Thisday Newspapers.

We pray that God’s in his infinite mercy will protect her immediate family, and grant her associates and the Christian body where she served meritoriously the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
