There are allegations that a trusted sales representative, a 21-year-old Nigerian woman employed at Flawless Elegance Luxury Jewelry Store, absconded with gold and diamond jewelry valued at ₦100 million.
The suspect, identified as Lucy, was an employee of the luxury jewelry store prior to breaching her employers’ trust on Monday.
The owner of Flawless Elegance Luxury Jewelry Store with office in Lekki Phase 1, a businesswoman, shared a video clip on her store’s verified Instagram page recounting her experience.
She explained that the salesgirl took advantage of her absence to steal goods from the store before fleeing. In another video, she revealed that the suspect had been employed for less than two months before committing the act.
The businesswoman, tearfully recounting her experience in the video, stated that she had worked tirelessly to establish and build her business.
