Senator Shehu Sani has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to urgently reach out to a national leader of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

He said such can save the president from being drowned
Sani stated this in a Facebook post where he apparently referred to Buhari as “The Lion Monarch” and Tinubu as “aggrieved but silent Lagoon Lion”.

The senator, who represents Kaduna Central senatorial district at the Senate wrote, “The Lion Monarch should reach out to the aggrieved but silent Lagoon Lion so that he doesn’t explode like the hippo. The Lagoon Lion controls waters that can drown.”

In another post Sani wrote, “The disloyal cobra who spat venom before you and the friendly viper who sprayed venom behind you are all snakes. In comparison, the former is of lesser evil than the later.”

This is not the first time Sani will use figurative expression to comment on issues of national concern.
He had in July while President Buhari was still sick in London wrote, “Prayer for the absent Lion King has waned; until he’s back then they will fall over each other to be on the front row of the palace temple.

Now the hyenas and the jackals are scheming and talking to each other in whispered; still doubting whether the Lion King will be back or not.

“It is the wish of the Hyenas and the Jackals that the Lion King never wakes up or come back so that they can be kings. It is the prayers of the weak animals that the Lion King comes back to save the kingdom from the Hyenas, the wolves and other predators.”

Responding, the President’s wife, Aisha Buhari, had then said,“God has answered the prayers of the weaker Animals. The Hyenas and the jackals will soon be sent out of the kingdom. We strongly believe in the prayers and support of the weaker animals”.

It would also be recalled that earlier in the year, there had been rumors in the political space about silent rancour between President Buhari and Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos state.

But the media team of both camps had dismissed the rumours, putting up spirited efforts to project an air of friendliness between both leaders.

Tinubu in the wake of the rumours, had visited ailing President Buhari in London in company of a former national chairman of the APC, Chief Bisi Akande
