The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has expressed heartfelt condolences to Hon. Adamson Ayinde, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Industrial Training Fund, following the death of his mother, Chief (Mrs.) Nuratu Ayinde Ibadiaran.
The late matriarch passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of dignity, compassion, and devotion to family and community.
In a statement issued on behalf of the people of Ikeja Local Government, Chairman AKOD described the loss as both personal and profound, noting that the deceased was a virtuous woman whose life positively impacted many beyond her immediate family.
He acknowledged Hon. Ayinde’s longstanding contributions to grassroots mobilization and community development in Onigbongbo LCDA, adding that the passing of his mother represents a significant loss to all who knew and cherished her.
“The pain of losing a mother is immeasurable, as she embodies love, guidance, and the very foundation of the family. We share in his grief and pray that Almighty God grants him and the entire Ayinde family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” the chairman stated.
AKOD also prayed for the peaceful repose of the departed soul and urged the family to take solace in her impactful life and the enduring legacy she leaves behind.
